Berkshire had a large position in American Express. Warren Buffett told the Amex CEO, keep calling and be a pest and pound him every day, but do not ever utter my name. Ted is very well aware of his boss's extreme hatred for airlines,. But he also understands his boss has given him a mandate to deliver returns without taking ridiculous risks.
