How to Multitask on a Macintosh
The original Macintosh had one floppy drive built into the computer. So you got one 400K floppy drive. That's all your data. If you just want to if you can register one icon asset, that's it. All your RAM is gone. The uncompressed version of the bitmap of your thing added up add up the RGB values uncompressed size of that is way bigger than 120 kilobytes. And I'm not running a full operating system in this space. I'm just storing a very, very large icon.
