Is There a Story Telling Standard?

I think in this book, something that you do that's really a craft element, i think, is you play a lot with time. I just wondered if you had any comments on it, or what you when i talke about that, what you think? You know, i always toll my students this, that em there is sort of a story telling default, rit and it's the default that we kind of got drilled into us as little kids.
