What's Going on With the Chandler Wobble?

Three years in a row where the average day was less than 24 hours. Why? What's going on? We're not sure exactly, but there are lots of theories. The chandler wobble is one potential reason why. Andi took down redded because it added an extra second to universal time. In 20 12, reddet was taken down because a leap second was added that year. If the earth keeps spinning faster and or if we maintain this average of faster than 24 hours, then may add a negative leap second.
