If we put less than 20% of the sulfur dioxide that we're currently putting into the atmosphere, temperatures would drop to approximately what they were in 1850. We produce this substance because reality is comical. Modern 747s output about 100 grams of sulfur dioxide every minute. My biggest balloon that I've launched so far was maybe two to five at most grams of sulfur pollutants.
