If there've ever been a year where states are flush with cash to probably put into the pension funds, it's 2022. A lot of these states are just having budget surpluses and you don't see medium being like, "We're going to get sober" This seems like it goes the other way. Their savior is going to be private equity and magical alpha returns somehow.
