Rome Walls - A Brief History
The new wall circuit, eventually dub the aurelian walls, would grow to be 19 kilometers long and enclose an area of 13 point seven square kilometers. As originally built, the walls were three point five meters thickand eight meters high. The whole circuit took just five years to complete.
