Is It a Combinatorial Thing?
The kinds of chips that we do now can look at am two million spots on the chromosome. So you go from counting the chromosoms to seeing seven or 800 places. Now with the arrays, which have now, i would say, completely supplanted looking at chromosomes,. There's not really much reason to look at chromosomes any more. We just take the diana from the people and put it on the microl ray.
