The Instabilities of Cannabinoid Acids

There is limited preclinical evidence for this idea that THC is anti-inflammatory in various ways. The molecule so rapidly degrades to its decarboxylated THC and the same is true for most of these acids, but it's just very hard to study them. Once they're expressed by the plant, they're degrading constantly. In drug development, we aim for drugs and intermediates that are bench stable especially lead candidates and clinical candidates.
