How to Talk to a Child With 30 Million Less Words

There's a famous tudy that says lower income children will actually hear 30 million less words than their higher income peers. We don't think, you know, if we sat here and already counted how many words we've spoken in this conversation alone, ot more than we probably would guess. It sounds like a huge piece, just like talking to the kid, writing an n engaging ag o them write, and then reading to them and providing opportunities for them to to i think though, a lot though, is that interactive piece. You can talk around them. You could talk like they could be hearing you peripheriy, talking like say, we had a child here.
