The History of Tetris
Tetris was designed by a 29-year-old Russian software designer, Alexei Padgettnov. The falling blocks puzzle game became one of the most popular video games of all time. Game Boy didn't have expensive hardware and battery-zapping color displays. It was a truly portable gaming system that you could take with you and use for a long time.
