The Verva Petri Versus the Vox Petri?

Papius says that Mark as best he could recorded the preaching of Peter, not necessarily in chronological order. So it's quite true that Mark is not a fully finished product. But there's something really raw, something very authentic about it. And so the papius points us back to Mark as the translator.
