When my daughter was eight the natural thought process from a traditional coach would be I need to teach her proper layup technique. Now as an 11 year old she can definitely if you told her and she's gone to different camps or different situations where someone said do a proper layup she can do it without ever being taught but now more often than not she has more solutions than someone because she's never been restricted. Is that a mindset that we should be approaching coaching from a little bit more? "The debt the real danger is is that you constrain an individual's movement repertoire by telling them the right way so of course why would they deviate"
