Nozick's Anarchy, Part 2
The book begins with the Anarchy section, and that's probably still what it's best known for. The anti-Ralls bit of the book explicitly is the second part, State. Nozick pushes back hard against the idea of the redistributive, welfare estate which Rawls championed. He wants to answer a more basic question: Why do we have a state at all? How can we possibly justify it?
