The Importance of Isaiah Chapter 18
In Isaiah 18, Israel is going to enter into some kind of alliance with Ethiopia and Egypt against Assyria. The hope of the righteous ends in gladness, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing. Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the slugger to those who send him. Lord God, we ask that you please bring us healing this day and every day.
