Music is a way for people to connect with each other. It makes me think of the MySpace profile song, which is such an integral part of that experience. I remember spending way too much energy curating what I listed as my favorite music on Facebook. And it wasn't really my favorite music, it was my aspirational favorite music because I was on a college campus and I wanted people to like me.
