Activation of the G Protein Coupled Receptor
The G protein coupled receptor is the fact that it's got the G protein alpha unit. There are three sub units and I'll get to that in a moment but at the moment we've just got the whole the whole G sub unit with a whole G protein all three sub units they're connected to the intracellular part of the G protein coupled receptors. When there's a conformational change in the receptor that triggers a process by which the alpha sub unit disassociates from the kilojoule beta and gamma sub units and also is energized by the binding of a GTP molecule. The activated G protein sub units detach from the receptor so now that they're activated they
