Is There a Difference Between a Timer and a Digital Clock?
The edge of the disk moves in the same direction as an analog clock. When you have 45 minutes left in your time timer, that edge is where the minute hand of a clock would be when there's45 minutes left in the hour. I actually had the opportunity to talk to a woman at a conference who had suffered a traumatic brain injury and she lost the ability to tell time. And her understanding of time was gone as part of that injury. She relearned what an hour felt like using time timer because it was a visual, a physical that she could relate to with parts of her brain that were covering and functioning.
