The Role of Delay Sequence Intubation in Trauma Patients With Endotracheal Airway Control
Swami, we've alluded to a lot of this stuff, but let's just get into the nitty gritty here. What did these authors exactly do? This was a prospective randomized clinical trial. The patients were pre oxygenated via spontaneous tidal breathing for three minutes using a face mask with oxygen running at 10 liters per minute. Intubations were performed using direct laryngoscopy. We're not really going to be talking about DL versus VL.
