If you brand the show this is an oversimplification but I'm going to do it anyway so there's a comedy show that happens to be about friendship and there's a show about friendship that happens to being fun. If you say this is the friendship self-improvement show that happen to be funny you're competing against other comedians who are also funny which makes it harder for them to stand out.
