Journalists are a very brave lot and they don't expect to be treated with kid gloves when they're out there on the scene covering a protest. There's a big difference between accepting that something may happen to you while you're doing your job and having to go out into a scene where you know you may be targeted by police because of what you're doing. Those are different propositions. And I do worry that journalists might become reluctant in some cases to cover these protests.
