The Importance of Hands-on Experience in Physiotherapy

Most patients would come in with some kind of belief system that there would be hands-on care, particularly physiotherapy. There is, I would say 60 to 70% of the patients that I've worked with that have musculoskeletal problems, probably expect some hands-on related care. The thing I like about the Geriadol article, it doesn't advocate massage or manual therapy. They just advocate putting your hands on the part and touching the part, giving that patient and understanding that you're trying to really clean information from this.
