What's the Difference Between Imagination and Conversion?
Lewis had a three part view of man, which is nothing like the sort of camp psychology and theology of dern evangelicos to day. Lewis felt that in the great war time, when we were having this imagintive experience, we were seeing a spirit sees. And so imagination moved from this high view to a low view in when he became a christian. He didn't think tha it was automatically pointing everyone toward god, but that god, in fact, can use imagination to point people toward god - as he did in his own life.
