In April, there was an insane swarm of locus in Eastern Africa. At one point, it covered 930 square miles and left millions of people without food. Extreme weather patterns can be tied back to increased moisture in certain areas along with the increased heat. Arctic sea ice is much thinner than it was eight years ago.
