Is Your SIP Really Regulated?
Ask for written proof and check with an external source if it needs to be. Great source is the FCA register, one of two financial regulators in the UK. You can see if somebody's perhaps had some kind of disciplinary action in the past,. Now they've moved to a new firm, but that's still on their records. So I don't think enough people do this.
