The Importance of Intuition in Decision Making

There's been a lot of books put out there about how we're human beings are extremely irrational you make poor decisions and that we shouldn't trust our instincts or intuition. So I have a big problem with the takeaway message from these kinds of books that you shouldn't trust your intuition. You should ignore your intuition because it's going to get you in trouble. We need to balance the two and rely on the two. Those are two different kinds of capabilities that we want to take advantage of.
