Do You Know How to Measure Your Oxidized LDL?

There is a measurable oxidation biomarker, it's called oxidized phospholipids on APOB. But that's not what's measured when people order oxidized LDLs. There's a very unique new biomarker that pretty much pertains only to LP, little A particles. So I'm sure we'll get to that ultimately. But they standard oxidized LDL tests that laboratories offer are a joke. They're a way to lab, make money. And none of the studies that ever suggest that oxidized LDL is a good biomarker were ever adjusted against APOB because it would have no meaning if you adjusted for APOB.
