Is the Fed Really Watching the Corporate Bond Market?
The Fed put probably is not in the S&P card or said they watch, but it's probably much lower than we are now. If you're looking at a portfolio where you're taking on a bunch of duration risk, there's really not much you can do through here. There could be a domino effect here. I think it absolutely needs to be addressed in a way in which credit and what you could be doing to the corporate bond markets need to be factored into a lot of these Fed conversations.
