The Rivian is designed for people who are still driving it. It has what Tesla calls autopilot, which is lane centering with adaptive cruise control. You can do a lot on the stocks and you can open the glove box with your hand. The experience of being a Tesla owner is like a lot of really nice things of very nicely driving cars. But every car has at least one of those dumb things that you have to forgive.
