Rustock was sending a lot of its spam femails through hotmail accounts, and they were sending emales claiming to be from microsopt or fiser. On top of that, rustock enabled a heap of users remote access to windows clients, so the infected machines could talk to each other. 26 individual rustock c and c servers from five different hosting providers were seized by us Marshals across seven cities in the us.
