What Is an Economic Style of Policy Making?
The economic style of reasoning is not necessarily what ph d economists are doing, right? It's sort of a micro economic, econ, one o one approach to policy. A broad focus on a choice incentives, cost effectiveness and weighing costs and benefits. Those kinds basic concepts that you can use as a set of tools for thinking about policy. And in terms of what that actually look like in practice, there's one example,. i use it in the beginning of the book that i like because it really illustrates how much things changed over a period o f time.
