When I started intermittent fasting, I was like, I am so tired of trying to restrict foods. But gradually over time, especially the more I learned about the gut microbiome, I started putting better food in. And without even consciously deciding to take things out, I stopped craving them or wanting them. That didn't happen overnight. It just happened. The more real foods I ate, the more I liked real foods.
