The Crusade Against Santa Claus

A number of very good and well-meaning women decided some years ago that the story of Santa Claus was a wicked fiction. This year they have begun earlier than usual, hoping to head him off before his arrival is too generally expected among his small admirers. They're out there telling everyone Santa Claus is not real, so kids won't believe in Santa Claus because why give kids joy? It's also one of the weirdest things that we do: lie to your kid.
