Afghanistan was already the poorest country in asia in suffolk. The talibon cracked down on human rights, barring women from educational and work opportunities. It's not clear what this plan would mean for the actual citizens of afghanistan. Will it benefit them as a group, or do they have real meaning? So far there's very little evidence of that.
