The Mind's Ability to Comprehend Our Body
If there's more than one stimulation at a given point, by being exposed to that stimulation later, you will also recall the other things present in that moment. The mind doesn't know the body as a body, but just knows it through ideas of modifications by which the body is affected. That's why people can have negative associations with things that are on their own, not really harmful like Taylor Swift's music Doesn't hurt me,. But if I associate it with the memory of getting hit with the dodge ball then I will create this association.
