The Importance of Realness in Art

I wanted to write a character who had my annoyances but took them to a very extreme place and I wanted to see if you know if there was anything real in the things that he was so angry and cranky about. The core idea for that chapter is very much one centered on what matters in art is one emergency and realness. We should hopefully get out of these pre-constructed postures of like neoliberal complacency that have kind of taken over I think a lot of the academy at least in the US.
