Rowan Rogers - The Best Snowboarder Ever?
Nicholas Bellinger: Rowan Rogers is one of the best snowboarders who ever lived. Noah Slaznick, Roach and Aaron Vincent were also big influences on him. He says there are countless people that are in the films that are just so good. "I was really impressed with a lot of people," Bellinger said.
Mike McEntire a.k.a. Mack Dawg is the most prolific film maker in the history of snowboarding and has shaped generations of snowboarders as well as pushed the progression of the sport though his large catalog of movies. This week we talk Mack Dawg Productions, Salasnek, Roach, Hard Hungry and The Homeless, New Kids On The Twock, The Rebirth Of Forum, the history of snowboard films, X-Games Real Snow, film vs. digi, the evolution of filming, the rail liberation movement and so much more. Join us as we sit down with Mack Dawg and hear about the first time he picked up a camera and learn about his journey into the world of film making and how he went on to make movies that were inspired by skateboarding and not day glow one piece suits. Mack Dawg’s films helped change the identity of the sport in the early 90’s and pushed progression to new level’s in the decades to come and we talk about it all on this episode of The Bomb Hole!
