In the Old Testament, a Syrian general is dying of leprosy. Elijah tells him to wash in the Jordan; he asks why? He washes seven times and comes out healed. If he had gone back and washed in his own water, would it have worked? Oh, why? Because that water's bad or unholy or something. No, it's because there was no promise attached to it.
