The Imam's Five Makrassa
You mentioned that Imam al-Jawani had five makrassa, life, wealth, intellect, lineage and faith. But you intimated that scholars that came after him may have derived different makRassa and different rules. Can you tell us something about that? I mean, what were the additional mak rassa were introduced by and by whom? Yeah, exactly. So as Jawani began with the five again, with his own human endeavor to derive what he considered the most fundamental objectives based on hudud. Then you have karafi, who came along and said, no, no, he found a sixth.
