I Am the Lord Your God, From the Land of Egypt
I am the lord your god, from the land of egypt. I will again make you dwell in tents as in the days of the appointed feast. It was i who multiplied visions, and through the prophets gave parables. If there is iniquity in gilead, they shall surely come to nothing. Ephraim has said, ay, but i am rich. Have gained wealth for myself. But all his riches can never offset the guilt he has incurred. The pangs of childbirth come for him, but he is an unwise son. For now he does not present himself at themo of the womb. Shall i ransom them from the power of sheol?
