Unilever Sustainability

When you first became CEO of Unilever in 2009 was sustainability really popular then or did you have to sort of popularize it within the company? Well one of the reasons I joined Unilever and I was the first CEO coming in from the outside because I was attracted to the company for its values. The issues of sustainability are probably different now than they were 10 years ago because the wealth is going incredibly fast but this company has always had a little bit of a concept of doing well by doing good with this exactly why I joined what we have changed over the last 10 years.
