The Importance of John Knox in Presbyterianism
John Knox was a big part of the reason Why the Protestant Reformation took hold there in Scotland. The English Puritans drew a lot of their influence because of John Knox and it was also he was seen as one of the big reasons why the Church of England didn't take over Scotland. He would be considered the founding father of Presbyterianism even though it would be you know 120 years before that would actually start to become official. This sermon is is an exegesis. It's kind of a breakdown of scripture. I like seeing his heart for Scotland and specifically Edinburgh You can tell you you can tell he loves his homeland on it.
