How to Write a Good Learning Objective
Paul Watson is the author of a new book about formative assessment and science teaching. He says learning objectives should be more like success criteria rather than a sort of vague game, if that makes any sense. One example he gave was an objective to explain polar bears' adaptations in cold climates but it could have been for anyone from 11-18 years old.
