The Beastly Boys Sampled a Track From a Four Song EP
British film director jeremy heely explains how he came to use a track called beasty revolution in that t v spot. British airways allegedly used a sample from that song in one of their commercials without permission. By november 19 84, the beastes had signed to deaf jam, a new record label cofonded by rick reuben and russell simons. Rap and hippop became more and more important to the beasti sound.
