How to Be a Successful Artist

Phillip: I think right now, like if you were like, "I'm gonna start a pop band and I'm gonna get five hot dudes" You would find that to be a very difficult experience. Is this way of looking at it where it's like, oh, other fields have it harder? Like, or can we just grieve for all of us that these models have eroded over time? Phillip: My giant blind spot is that I am profoundly pragmatic. That makes it very difficult for me to see idealistic solutions to things.
