A recent paper points out that there are still a huge, huge array of problems that remain unsolved when it comes to building LLMs. The popularity of services like chat GPT suggests that LLMs are increasingly used for everyday question answering. We're going to start with some of the challenges that might be the most familiar to the average listener and then move into some of the ones that might not be as familiar.
