Receptivity and Interdependence in Caregiving

Exploring the concept of receptivity as an active mode of relation, this chapter discusses the reciprocal exchange of caregiving and the support needed by caregivers. Using examples of caregiving and referencing the work of philosopher Eva Catay, the speaker challenges gender assumptions and offers alternative perspectives on receptivity beyond biological and gendered assumptions.
