When an agent is totally in control of the situation, these distinctions start to disappear. If you are extremely good at practical reasoning, the distinction between deliberating and choosing closes to nearly nothing. Imagine an NFL quarterback scrambling for a first down. He doesn't deliberate over whether to dodge a tackler rather than sliding, and then choose to dodge him, and then dodge him. People who are good at handling infants don't mull over, then decide, then soothe, they just do it. How can divine infinity shed light on divine simplicity? Did I say that right?
