The Critical Value of UX, Including Research

As design has been democratized to the masses, designers have gotten better at their craft. The critical value of ux research is saying, does some one care about that? Buttom being there? And i think one specific example could bring this to life is when you're looking like eb and bs versus hotels. If i go to a marriot versus of ritz carlton, and they clean my room every day, there are skills and benefits from that that i get that i can't get from a dem sation.
