The Justices' Disagreement on Reparations for Gay Couples
The justices would all agree with you that remedies are appropriate. It's just how big is that remedy? How broad? I think it gets really sticky. This whole thing made a lot more sense in 1960 than it does right now. Like, if you go back to demogr- we can say that the logic was flawed or that ideologically, we disagree with it. But it was just less messy in 1960. The white people are now this big demographic. And the other race in America is black people and Native Americans, but they're like 2% of the population.
